Job Summary: We are seeking an Oracle Developer/Architect to lead the modernization of systems toward real-time and event-driven architectures. Key Highlights: 1. Design a roadmap for monolithic decoupling and API-First architecture. *Spoiler: This is where your next big move begins.* **What is this role like?** We are seeking an Oracle Developer/Architect to lead the modernization of systems toward real-time and event-driven architectures. **What do you bring to the team?** * **Event-Driven Modernization:** Evolve the database engine to support low-latency and real-time processing architectures (24/7\), ensuring compliance with the ISO 20022 standard for instant payments and global interoperability. * **AI-Powered Acceleration:** Lead the interface and business logic evolution strategy from Forms to Oracle APEX, leveraging Generative AI and LLMs for reverse engineering and automated PL/SQL code refactoring. * **Interoperability Evolution:** Design the roadmap for monolith decoupling—eliminating direct database dependencies and establishing a secure API\-First architecture (via ORDS, Swagger, and OAuth2\), aligned with Open Banking. * **Refactoring \& Layering:** Guide the team in organizing database-resident logic into reusable service layers and well-defined business domains (DDD). * **Coexistence Strategy (Strangler Fig):** Implement transitional architectures enabling gradual extraction of functionality from the monolith into the new architecture, ensuring operational continuity (Zero Downtime). * **CI/CD-Driven Design:** Implement a Database\-as\-Code culture, ensuring every change is versioned, automatically tested (utPLSQL), and integrated into continuous deployment pipelines. * **Security and Governance:** Implement a Zero Trust Architecture model applied to services and data (OWASP, mTLS, Token Management/OAuth2/OIDC). **Technical Requirements** * **Domain-Driven Design (DDD):** Service design based on Bounded Contexts for large-scale financial data volumes. * **Polyglot Interoperability:** Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) to ensure seamless integration between the database and microservices architecture (Docker). * **Oracle Stack Expertise:** Advanced proficiency in Oracle Database and PL/SQL, plus prior experience with Oracle Forms \& Reports. * **APEX Modernization:** Proven experience in modern application architecture using Oracle APEX. * **Cloud \& DevOps:** Experience with OCI CLI, containers (Docker), and service orchestration. * **Performance \& Resilience:** High capability in tuning high-transaction databases and using Edition\-Based Redefinition (EBR). * English is not required. **Desirable (Differentiators)** * Experience in the financial sector or mission-critical Core Banking. * Certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar cloud architectures ### **Benefits That Empower You** At Pearster, we aim to amplify your talent: * Fully **remote** work with total **flexibility** * Compensation in **USD**, commensurate with your experience * Paid **time off** * 100% covered **international certifications** * Access to global **coworking spaces** * **English classes** to advance your international career * Team activities to connect with **global colleagues** * Welcome **kit** and **personalized gifts** * Referral program with **incentives** At **Pearster**, your growth matters.
