This opportunity may interest you! · At Randstad, we are looking for an Evaporation Operator to join the Operations team of our client, a major lithium mining company. · Required Profile: · We seek an operator with solid experience in industrial processes. Experience in the following sectors will be especially valued: · Sugar mills / distilleries. Petrochemical industry. Other mining operations. · Key Responsibilities: · The role involves operational management and control of the evaporation unit: · Operate key equipment: evaporators, heat exchangers, pumps, and valves. Monitor critical process variables (temperature, pressure, flow rate, levels, and concentration). Perform necessary operational adjustments to maintain parameters within required specifications. Execute start-up, shutdown, and process change procedures. Detect operational deviations or failures and promptly report them to supervision. Record operational data in control systems (SCADA/DCS) or spreadsheets. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Actively collaborate in basic maintenance and equipment cleaning tasks.
