We are bridging two worlds—advancing toward more sustainable energy sources while simultaneously helping provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed today. **Position Objective:** Efficiently and safely manage and coordinate the project's work permit system, ensuring compliance with HSE procedures, proper coordination of simultaneous operations (SIMOPS), and appropriate use of the site’s computerized work permit management application. **Main Responsibilities:** * Administer the project’s digital work permit platform (issuance, review, approval and closure). * Coordinate with supervisors, contractors and operational staff to ensure all work has valid and up-to-date permits. * Verify that permits include necessary control measures according to the type of work (hot work, confined spaces, working at heights, etc.). * Participate in the planning and coordination of SIMOPS, identifying and mitigating risks associated with concurrent activities. * Conduct internal audits on compliance with the work permit system. * Train personnel on the use of the permit application and related procedures. * Maintain updated records and generate periodic reports for the HSE team and project management. **Profile Requirements:** Engineers, HSE degree holders or technicians with experience in work permit offices. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles in industrial or mining projects. Technical knowledge: * Advanced proficiency in Office suite. * Advanced knowledge of computerized work permit management systems. * In-depth understanding of work permit procedures. * Proven experience in SIMOPS management. * English language proficiency will be valued. **Skills:** * Organization and attention to detail. * Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
