




**Position Overview** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Remote Operations Support Team Member to join our Operations Department and drive organizational efficiency across scheduling, resource tracking, reporting, documentation, vendor coordination, and platform management. This role is critical in ensuring smooth execution of operational processes, accurate record\-keeping, and strong vendor support. In addition, this position will serve as the primary portal manager for vendor platforms and support the installer hiring process, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external partners. **Key Responsibilities** **Scheduling \& Coordination** * Support team scheduling and calendar coordination across departments. * Stay informed about recurring cadence alignments and meeting preparations. **Resource \& Project Management** * Monitor and support resource tracking across active projects. * Assist in maintaining project schedules and timelines. **Reporting \& Documentation** * Support status reporting by preparing and distributing updates. * Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation. * Ensure data management is accurate and up to date for operational reporting. **Vendor \& Portal Management** * Oversee all **Costco jobs** through the **Centah portal**. * Manage all **James Hardie jobs** through the **James Hardie portal**. * Manage **IME jobs** and their dedicated portal. * Serve as the **portal manager** for all vendor platforms, including **GAF**. * Assist with vendor management and coordination to maintain strong relationships. * Support quality control and assurance processes to uphold service standards. **Hiring Support** * Provide support for the installer hiring process, assisting with coordination and administrative tasks to streamline onboarding. **Platform \& Tools Setup** * Configure review platforms and align settings to organizational needs. * Create and publish SOPs to ensure employees and managers have access to clear process guidelines. **Other Ad hoc Duties** * The role supports the business as needed * Interdepartmental support **Required Qualifications** * 2–3 years of experience in operations support, project coordination, or administrative support preferred. * Must be willing to work EST hours (8 am–4 pm). * Strong organizational and time\-management skills with attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel with minimal supervision. * Proficiency in MS Office, Asana, Notion, Google Workspace, and other business operations platforms. * Strong communication skills (written and verbal). **Key Competencies** * Collaboration: Works effectively with cross\-functional teams and stakeholders. * Adaptability: Adjusts quickly to evolving needs and deadlines. * Accountability: Takes ownership of tasks and ensures completion to standard. * Process\-Oriented Mindset: Identifies and implements ways to improve operational efficiency and documentation. * **Compensation:** $18–21 USD per hour * **Engagement:** Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, Independent Contractor * **Schedule:** Must be available to work U.S. EST hours (typically 8 am–5 pm) * **Location:** Remote * **Resumes:** Must be submitted in English * **Holidays:** No work required on U.S. public holidays Thompson Creek is an equal opportunity employer.
