Apply now to lead impactful work end to end **Responsibilities** * Design and ship web services and background processing jobs using FastAPI * Lead data pipeline design and delivery across data lakes, medallion architecture, and star schema models * Run data processing and reporting workloads with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Maintain and evolve CI/CD by configuring GitHub Actions workflows * Guide Azure solution buildout with Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, and Azure SignalR Service * Automate infrastructure provisioning with Bicep for Azure and adapt AWS CDK or Terraform where applicable * Implement specification\-driven development using AI\-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code * Integrate Airflow, dbt, or Streamlit capabilities when required **Requirements** * Proven 5\+ years of experience in Python development and data engineering, including relevant leadership responsibilities * Hands\-on experience with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB for data processing and reporting * Deep understanding of FastAPI for building web services and orchestrating background jobs * Practical expertise in CI/CD with GitHub Actions and IaC automation using Bicep * Advanced capability in Microsoft Azure engineering with Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, and Azure SignalR Service * Comprehensive knowledge of data lakes, medallion architecture, and star schema design * Demonstrated ability to use AI\-assisted development with GitHub Copilot and Claude Code * Working knowledge of Airflow, dbt, or Streamlit * Ability to translate AWS CDK or Terraform experience into Azure implementations **Nice to have** * Knowledge of distributed processing, asynchronous workflows, and enterprise messaging patterns * Experience with Snowflake features such as stored procedures, streams, tasks, pipes, and time travel * Exposure to .NET Core web development * Familiarity with Angular or Next.js for modern web applications
