Sagan provides a high\-performance remote work environment, ensuring access to world\-class opportunities for top\-tier professionals. **Position Overview:** We are building a private network of vetted, independent AI engineers who take on client projects alongside us. Instead of spending time finding clients, we handle the client relationship entirely. You focus on building. Every project comes with a detailed Product Requirements Document (PRD), so everything is well\-defined from the start. No ambiguous briefs. No scope creep. You get full autonomy to manage your workflow, hire under you if needed, and run your operation however you want. We only interface with you, not your sub\-contractors. This is ongoing work, not a one\-time project. If you are accepted into the network, you will have access to a steady flow of well\-scoped projects at $35/hour. **Key Responsibilities:** * Build and deploy AI\-powered tools, automations, and workflows based on detailed PRDs provided by Sagan. * Work with automation and scraping platforms like n8n, Apify, Firecrawl, Cargo, or similar tools. * Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent) as part of your daily workflow. * Deliver high\-quality, production\-ready outputs independently with minimal supervision. * Manage your own schedule, workflow, and team (if applicable) to meet project timelines. * Communicate clearly and directly with the Sagan team on project status and delivery. **Qualifications:** * Genuinely AI\-native: you build with AI tools daily, not occasionally. * Hands\-on experience with automation, scraping, or AI workflow platforms (n8n, Apify, Firecrawl, or similar). * Active user of AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent. * Able to take a well\-scoped brief and ship without hand\-holding. * Entrepreneurial mindset: you run your own operation, whether solo or with a team. * Strong problem\-solving skills with the ability to build solutions from scratch. **Nice\-to\-Haves:** * Active in AI engineering communities (n8n forums, AI Twitter, indie hacker spaces, etc.). * Experience working with international clients or remote\-first teams. * Track record of shipping AI\-powered products or tools independently. * Background in web development, data engineering, or backend systems. **What You Get?** * A steady flow of well\-scoped projects at $35/hour with no client hunting required. * Full PRDs for every project so you know exactly what to build. * Complete autonomy over your workflow, schedule, and team. * Sagan handles the client relationship entirely so you can focus on building. * $1,000 referral bonus for every engineer you bring into the network who earns their first $1,000 with us. * Opportunity to grow beyond project work into AI strategy or direct placements with Sagan members.
