This role blends creative design with hands\-on development for smaller website projects, landing pages, and light site updates. You’ll create clean, user\-friendly designs and bring them to life through development—ensuring each project aligns with NorthWing Digital’s quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both design and front\-end implementation and can work independently while collaborating with our team. **Responsibilities** * Design visually engaging website layouts, landing pages, and digital assets using Figma. * Develop responsive web pages based on approved designs using WordPress. * Make updates to existing client websites, including layout adjustments, content updates, and styling tweaks. * Collaborate with the web team to plan and execute small web projects. * Optimize pages for speed, accessibility best practices, and mobile responsiveness. * Troubleshoot and resolve front\-end issues as they arise. * Complete revisions quickly and efficiently based on team feedback. **Requirements** * Proven experience in both web design and front\-end web development. * Proficiency in Figma for creating custom designs and layouts. * Experience with WordPress and page builders (such as Elementor). * Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. * Familiarity with responsive design principles, layout structure, typography, and visual hierarchy. * Ability to manage multiple small projects and deadlines in a fast\-paced environment. * Excellent communication skills and responsiveness. * Comfortable working within established brand guidelines. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience creating custom WordPress templates or light theme modifications. * Prior experience working with an agency or remote team. * Basic understanding of SEO best practices related to web builds. **Contract Details** * Part\-time, contractor role (hourly). * Ability to work during US Central Time hours for quick collaboration. * Remote position.
