We are specifically looking for a **third\-party consultant** — plug\-and\-play, highly hands\-on, and able to create impact fast. Our main current challenges are **email automation and HTML optimization**, and we need someone comfortable working with a strong growth marketing team that has **limited coding expertise**.
You will map all existing email templates, optimize our HTML structure, and build a **standardized end\-to\-end automation framework**. A key part of your work will be **training the team** so they can independently build and manage automations after your engagement.
### **What you’ll do**
* Design and optimize automated lifecycle campaigns across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Push
* Map and standardize email templates and HTML structure
* Build a reusable automated campaign framework
* Set up at least 3 core automated use cases (welcome, abandonment, winback, etc.)
* Identify and expose customer attributes from Segment.io
* Improve deliverability, personalization, and performance
* Create documentation and **train the team end\-to\-end** on automation setup and deployment
* Work with Data, BI, and Engineering to ensure data quality and integrations
* Lead A/B testing and continuous optimization across journeys
**What we’re looking for**
* 5\+ years in Marketing Automation, CRM, Retention, or technical lifecycle roles
* Strong HTML experience for email templating and optimization
* Python scripting experience; SQL strongly preferred
* Proven experience in **eCommerce** (preferably apparel)
* Experience with platforms such as Iterable, Klaviyo, Braze, Insider, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.
* Experience with CDPs (Segment.io a strong plus)
* Strong understanding of lifecycle metrics: activation, churn, LTV, conversion
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Advanced English
