A prominent supermarket in the city of Paso de los Libres is seeking a Procurement Manager with solid experience in supermarkets or retail chains, aiming to professionalize the procurement function and lead the company’s supply strategy. This position targets candidates with strong negotiation skills, strategic commercial vision, and leadership abilities for comprehensive procurement process management. Responsibilities: Design and implement the procurement strategy aligned with commercial objectives. Manage efficient product sourcing, ensuring quality, variety, and profitability. Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and wholesalers, prioritizing direct agreements. Lead and develop the procurement team, assigning tasks and setting priorities. Conduct cost, margin, product turnover analyses and generate reports. Evaluate and select new suppliers, ensuring a reliable network. Coordinate activities with other key departments (logistics, sales, administration). Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations. Requirements: Completed university degree: Bachelor’s in Administration, Marketing or related fields (mandatory).
