To continue positively impacting more people's lives, we are looking to add an **AIX/Linux Specialist – Infrastructure, Support and Automation** to the **Systems and Technology Department** at **Swiss Medical**. **Responsibilities** We are seeking a professional with solid experience in UNIX system administration, especially in **AIX environments (IBM Power Systems), with advanced knowledge of Linux and automation**. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, administering, and continuously improving critical server infrastructure, incorporating automation practices to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual errors. * Administration, configuration, and maintenance of AIX environments (PowerVM, HMC, LPARs). * Operating system support for Linux (preferably RedHat). * Automation of operational and maintenance tasks using scripts or specific tools (e.g.: Ansible, Puppet, Shell, etc.). * Development and maintenance of playbooks for server provisioning, configuration, and patching. * Management of logical volumes (LVM), file systems, and performance. * Patch application, hardening, and resolution of second- and third-level incidents. * Participation in migration, upgrade, or server consolidation projects. * Collaboration with database, networking, and security teams. * Documentation of technical procedures, scripts, and automated workflows. **Requirements** You must have knowledge in: * Proven experience in AIX administration (minimum 3\-5 years). * Knowledge of IBM Power Systems, PowerVC, HMC, NIM. * Solid knowledge of Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Oracle Linux or others). * Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or scripting in bash/shell/ksh. * Desired: familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.). * Desired: experience in critical environments (healthcare, banking, telecommunications). * Others: AIX, RedHat, automation, or DevOps tool certifications are valued.
