We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges.* **ARAUCO is seeking a PLC & DCS Engineer!** Pulp Plant Puerto Esperanza – Misiones **7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | On-site work | Temporary contract** At ARAUCO Argentina, we seek to hire an **Electronic or Automation and Control Engineer** to join the **PLC & DCS – Maintenance** team, ensuring reliability and availability of the plant’s industrial control systems. **Requirements** * Degree in **Electronic Engineering** or **Automation and Control Engineering** (mandatory). * Minimum 2 years of experience (MANDATORY). * Experience or knowledge of PLCs: **Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Telemecanique**. * Knowledge of DCS systems: **ABB, DeltaV, or Honeywell**. * Industrial networks: **Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet**. * Proficiency in **SAP** and Microsoft Office tools. * Technical English. * Residence in **Puerto Esperanza** or nearby areas. **Key Responsibilities** * Diagnose and resolve failures in **control hardware**, IT networks, and field networks. * Configure, modify, and verify **control logic** in PLCs and DCS systems. * Tune control loops and analyze processes to optimize operations. * Maintain, administer, and back up **SCADA** systems and industrial databases. * Manage and maintain computer equipment in **virtualized environments** (VMware or similar). * Develop and monitor **preventive maintenance programs**. * Execute and record **corrective and preventive OT tasks** in SAP. * Maintain hardware and equipment associated with control systems. * Identify, quote, and code technical spare parts. * Develop **technical procedures**, and participate in failure analysis and root cause investigations. **Key Competencies** * Teamwork and active collaboration. * Analytical ability and results orientation. * Flexibility and adaptability to change. * Initiative and continuous improvement mindset. * Conflict management and effective communication. * Planning and organization.
