Structured as a matrix organization comprising six geographic regions and ten platforms, Louis Dreyfus Company operates in over 100 countries and employs approximately 18,000 people globally. **Job Description** **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop and manage the customer portfolio, strengthening the LDC brand locally. * Monitor the procurement unit’s P&L and budget. * Lead commercial team development aligned with LDC’s strategy. * Share relevant business information across departments (e.g., planting intentions, yields, weather conditions, financial status, crop technologies, etc.). * Coordinate with support functions (Industry, Domestic Execution, Logistics, Risk, etc.). **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Define commercial terms with producers jointly with the Regional Manager. * Manage the customer portfolio and develop new prospects. * Originate Grains & Oilseeds (soybeans, corn, wheat, sunflower, sorghum, barley); focus on sustainability. * Monitor the procurement unit’s commercial position (e.g., volumes to receive, volumes to deliver, pricing, etc.). * Sell fertilizers, agrochemicals, and seeds; promote barter transactions. * Develop new products (e.g., camelina, carinata, sustainability programs). * Assess customer financing needs and propose alternative financing solutions; responsible for initial credit risk analysis and debt collection. * Collaborate with the logistics coordinator to organize deliveries. * Coordinate with the Industry Manager and Plant Manager on plant-related matters including maintenance, improvements, safety, and quality. * Control and provide initial approval for expenses and purchases. * Monitor and ensure adherence to P&L and budget targets. **Qualifications** **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:** * Preferably with knowledge and experience in the grain market. * University degree in Economics or Agricultural Sciences. **SKILLS:** * Proactivity. * Leadership. * Empathy. * Negotiation ability. * Fluent communication and strong interpersonal skills. * Adaptability and resilience. **COMPETENCIES:** * Strong oral and written expression. * Commercial mindset. * Entrepreneurial orientation. * Proficiency in sector-specific technical terminology. * Proficiency in IT tools
