We are seeking a **Senior Solution Architect** to join the IT Patagonia community. \#Bepatagonian Your objective will be to design and evolve the architecture of each solution (for banking products) up to its production deployment, leveraging guidance from domain architects to ensure alignment with Group policies. Solution architecture must minimally cover business, technical, data, and security architecture domains. **Responsibilities:*** Apply your technical and business expertise to design and evolve the solution architecture through to production deployment. * Serve as the technical reference for the team and participate in meetings and forums where you will present the solution and its technical evolution plan (providing perspectives across business, technology, data, and security). * Identify technical requirements, capabilities, platforms, or technologies to be used, and establish agreements with Domain teams regarding architectural evolution—focusing on standardization and component reuse. * Participate in planning sessions (QBRs) to ensure adoption of defined technologies aligned with the corporate evolution vision (cloud-first, cloud-native, global platforms, and current technologies primarily), and manage evolution due to obsolescence or necessity of change/decommissioning. **Required Knowledge:** * Minimum 2+ years’ experience serving as a Software/Solution Architect within Financial/Banking business verticals. * Experience/knowledge of APIs, microservices platforms, microfrontends, design patterns, data, messaging/event systems, and security/IAM/authentication models. * Knowledge of container services/Kubernetes (EKS, OCP, ECS) and communications (service mesh, NGINX, etc.). * Knowledge of databases (RDS, DynamoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, others). * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management. Knowledge of DevOps methodology. * Ownership mindset, effective communication, leadership, and learning agility. * Minimum 3 years’ prior experience as a developer using technologies such as: Java, Spring, Jenkins (and/or other Java tools and frameworks, Angular, React, etc.), Go, Node.js, or Python. * Proficiency in English (not mandatory).
