More information: http://coderio.com We are looking for a **Senior Android Mobile Developer** with experience in **Java or Kotlin**, expertise in **geolocation and BLE scanning**, and general knowledge of **AWS services**, to join a technical team focused on digital transformation. Must reside in Argentina, Chile, or Paraguay. **What You Can Expect from This Role (Responsibilities)** Develop and maintain an app ensuring stability, performance, and a seamless user experience. Implement native functionalities in Java/Kotlin, including Geolocation, BLE scanning, and IoT device connectivity. Integrate the application with APIs and cloud services provided by the backend team. Participate in developing offline/online flows and efficient local state management. Implement push notifications, connectivity event monitoring, and management. Collaborate with backend, QA, and IoT teams to define technical requirements and validate integrations. Apply best development practices, unit testing, and quality control for every delivery. **Requirements** Minimum 3 years of experience developing Android mobile applications using Java or Kotlin. Proven experience with Geolocation (GPS, Fused Location, Maps). Proven experience with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) on Android. Solid knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Cognito, AppSync, DynamoDB, S3). Experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs. Strong knowledge of mobile testing. Experience with architectural patterns (MVVM / MVI). Knowledge of dependency management in Android projects. Must reside in Argentina, Chile, or Paraguay. **Desired Qualifications** Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in agile environments. Prior experience with B2B applications or IoT connectivity applications. Knowledge of React Native or hybrid module integration. Experience with offline-first architectures and local data handling.
