Guiding the development team on standards and best practices Responsible for the architecture of integrations between applications and services, delivering enterprise solutions through the design, modification, development, and implementation of fundamental complex functionalities, following best practices in a heterogeneous environment. **Education and/or Experience:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience developing enterprise applications in distributed environments, developing applications in JAVA, and developing components for scalable architectures using J2EE application servers such as WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS, SCA, WSDL, BPEL, Web Services Engines, CSS, XHTML, HTML, AJAX, XML, HTTP, JSF, Restful, JSON, XLST, WS\-\* or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive experience in object-oriented programming analysis and design, design patterns Basic knowledge of UNIX/AIX/Linux and Windows. Experience with development tools/IDEs such as WebSphere Integration Developer and Informatica PowerCenter. Experience with WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, WebSphere DataPower, and WebSphere Application Server. Basic knowledge of Six Sigma or other process improvement techniques or methodologies is preferred. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Identifies, designs, develops, and implements core services, infrastructure (middle\-tier) services, and enterprise-wide common services. Creates proof-of-concepts and implementations of new technologies and platforms oriented toward Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Artificial Intelligence. Manages business processes to identify common services, thereby reinforcing development according to established guidelines. Establishes processes, standards, and guidelines to support services, thus maintaining an up-to-date service catalog. Establishes processes, standards, service-level agreements, and guidelines for managing the lifecycle of enterprise integration services. Collaborates with internal customers, analysts, and the development team to identify/design/implement business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency while maintaining efficiency, consistency, and integrity. Utilizing disciplines such as EAI, SOA, and Business Process Management (BPM), among others. Participates in due diligence required to acquire new software packages or commercially available applications, evaluating all integration capabilities against the methodology established in the operational procedure. Monitors technological trends to identify opportunities and capabilities in EAI and Business Process Management (BPM). Instructs the development team on application integration, standards and best practices, as well as available services to be used. Supports the infrastructure group in installing, configuring, and tuning products supporting integration, such as WebSphere Process Server (ESB). Leads development teams in strategic projects. Documents and models technology processes and architecture using the TOGAF architecture framework and languages such as ArchiMate and UML. Participates in other strategic projects as required and/or performs other related technical tasks as necessary. **Licenses and/or Certifications:** No licenses and/or certifications are required to perform the above duties. TOGAF 9\.2 certification is preferred but not mandatory, as are other related certifications. However, additional role-related licenses or certifications may be required for optimal performance of duties. **Language:** Bilingual (Spanish and English), with ability to read, write, and speak both languages. Excellent communication skills across various organizational levels.
