Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the identification, acquisition, and maintenance of construction permits for civil, hydraulic, and road works, coordinating with technical departments and guaranteeing legal compliance. This position is responsible for ensuring the identification, acquisition, updating, and maintenance of all construction permits associated with civil, hydraulic, and road works required for the development, construction, and operation of the Project, coordinating with involved technical departments and guaranteeing compliance with applicable legislation. Provide technical support to internal teams, maintain regular on-site presence, and ensure the quality of submissions to regulatory authorities, developing institutional relationships aligned with the Company’s compliance policy. Key Responsibilities: Know and apply applicable current legislation related to the Project and the Master Permit Manual to identify required permits. Identify, manage, update, and maintain necessary construction permits for various Project sites. Develop the Construction Permit Planning, including the Annual Plan, and monitor its execution in accordance with the Project schedule. Coordinate with technical departments and consultants to prepare required documentation for timely permit applications. Ensure comprehensive review of technical documentation by all involved departments prior to submission. Monitor the processing of permits with regulatory authorities, providing corresponding technical support. Guarantee proper digital and physical archiving of all submitted documentation. Coordinate and participate in inspections conducted by regulatory authorities related to permits. Supervise contractors’ permits, register them in the permit matrix, and ensure appropriate archiving. Collaborate with the Senior Permit Specialist on field verifications to monitor compliance with requirements, inspection reports, and environmental obligations. Prepare the annual budget plan for the area and administer associated contracts. Lead the construction permitting team (one direct report), promoting technical development and stakeholder engagement skills with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements: University degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields. Minimum 6 years of experience in construction permit management and regulatory compliance. Experience in mining projects (mandatory). Experience interacting with regulatory authorities. Proficiency in DPDU’s GOP platform (mandatory). Proficiency in computer tools: Microsoft Office (advanced Excel), PDF handling. Knowledge of Project and/or Primavera (desirable). Availability for on-site work (at least once per month). Valid driver’s license. English language proficiency (desirable).
