As a Cloud SysAdmin, you will implement industry best practices, optimize resources, and respond effectively to technical needs—thus contributing to our clients’ continued success and to Veritran’s market reputation. For this position, we require proven knowledge and experience in: * **Configuration and Deployment:** Configuring and deploying infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, EKS, etc. Implementing configuration and security best practices in cloud environments. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Performing regular OS Linux and AWS service patch and version updates to ensure stability and security. Implementing and maintaining automated backups of critical data to prevent information loss. * **Corrective Maintenance:** Diagnosing and resolving incidents and technical issues related to Linux operating systems, Veritran’s platform, and cloud services. Collaborating with other teams to rapidly and efficiently resolve critical issues. * **Monitoring and Optimization:** Monitoring system and application performance using Veritran’s cloud monitoring tools and other monitoring systems. Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, optimizing resources to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. * **Security and Compliance:** Implementing security policies and access controls aligned with Veritran’s security policy. Conducting regular audits of cloud environments to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and certifications. * **Documentation and Collaboration:** Documenting technical procedures, system configurations, and user guides to maintain shared knowledge and facilitate support.
