We are looking for a **Laboratory Technician** located in **Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza**. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet. **What’s In It For You:** * Opportunity to work in a dynamic operational environment supporting Oil \& Gas production * Access to best\-in\-class laboratory resources, tools, and technology * Thrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety\-focused culture, and empowers its employees through continuous improvement * Professional growth within a global organization **What You Will Do:** * Execute laboratory monitoring and analysis programs defined by the company and operating clients * Perform field and laboratory sample collection, custody, preparation, and analysis, ensuring representativeness and traceability * Conduct quality control tests on chemical products and measure specific operational parameters * Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly laboratory reports in a timely and accurate manner * Identify, report, and escalate deviations in analytical results, incidents, or unsafe conditions * Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and facilities in proper operating condition, including housekeeping and preventive maintenance * Manage laboratory inventory, including reagents, consumables, and chemical products * Participate in equipment calibration, certification, and verification processes * Comply with internal procedures and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards **Position Details:** * Work location: Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza * Work schedule: Full\-time, defined workday * Work modality: On\-site / field\-based * Possible travel to operational areas **Minimum Qualifications:** * Technical degree in Chemistry **or** advanced student of Chemical Engineering * Two (2\) years of experience working in a laboratory environment * Experience applying Health, Safety, and Environment procedures in operational or industrial settings * Basic computer skills, including data entry and report preparation * Availability to work in operational field locations * Must reside in Luján de Cuyo, Greater Mendoza, or nearby areas * Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in Oil \& Gas operations or production\-related laboratory analysis * Knowledge of water analysis, corrosion monitoring, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) measurement, and sample handling procedures * Experience handling, storing, and managing chemical products and laboratory reagents * Familiarity with risk identification and environmental aspects in industrial operations **About Us:** ChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
