




Job Summary: This role notifies customers of importation and documentation requirements to efficiently process shipments while complying with customs regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination of documentation for importation and release of shipments. 2. Compliance with National Customs regulations. 3. Management of notifications and follow-up on customer requirements. Purpose of the Role Notify customers who need to register as importers, enable tariff classifications in customs systems, or complete documentation for importation, requesting importers to submit relevant documentation to prepare and process the import document and ensure efficient release of their shipment, in compliance with National Customs regulatory requirements. **Responsibilities:** 1\. Verify the list of shipments with observations sent by Import Agents to issue corresponding notifications, checking scanned documentation in DHL systems. 2\. Notify and confirm with the customer the necessary details for registration and cargo content information (permits, tariff classification, etc.). 3\. Inform Import Agents and forward documentation and/or information provided by the customer to fulfill missing requirements identified in the notification. 4\. Verify checkpoints of detained shipments entered the previous day in reports to proceed with notifications on the same day. 6\. Meet the standard of three notifications to customers capturing checkpoint BN and updating information in the CAIA system; each notification must be made per daily cycle (AM/PM). 7\. Conduct daily follow-up on unresponded requirements and notifications. 8\. Open a case in the GEMA system when unable to contact the customer or when the customer fails to respond to notifications for over 48 hours, so the origin supplier can provide the required data. Requirements * Technical degree in Foreign Trade or related fields; bachelor’s degree preferred. * Tariff Nomenclature. * Up-to-date knowledge of National Customs and Customs Warehouse regulations and procedures. * Minimum of 6 months in related positions with experience in customs management. * Technical English (preferred). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office at user level
