We seek a professional who actively participates in identifying and selecting the most appropriate and cost-effective transportation solutions. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------- * Monitor and track grain and other input transportation from origin to destination. * Participate in identifying and selecting the most appropriate and cost-effective transportation options, applying a foundational understanding of procurement and logistics practices and procedures to support freight rate and contract term negotiations. * Update databases for contracts, freight rates and estimates, packaging, and related information, ensuring accurate records. * Analyze current transportation operations practices to identify opportunities for cost and process improvement. * Manage routine issues and escalate complex ones to appropriate personnel, working under direct supervision. * Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** ------------------ #### **Minimum** * Experience in logistics, transportation, or procurement—preferably within the agribusiness sector. * Analytical ability to assess transportation costs and alternatives. * Negotiation and effective communication skills. * Familiarity with logistics management tools. \#LI\-AC7 **\#LI\-Hybrid** At Cargill, every person matters.
