Training for internal and external customers on new technologies At NOV, we are looking for new talent! We are currently seeking a Drilling Solutions Engineer to join our Digital Services team. The mission of this position is to ensure the proper operation, quality, and continuity of new products developed by the division, as well as to provide specialized technical support to internal and external customers. The role also requires ensuring data integrity, compliance with quality standards, and continuous improvement of the company’s digital services. * Act as a liaison between Field Engineering and Product Development teams, participating in technical meetings, knowledge exchange, and experience sharing. Translate and adapt received technical information to local needs and contexts, ensuring its correct implementation and understanding by the regional team. * Monitor the flow and quality of data from various sources, ensuring its proper integration, mapping, and storage in corporate databases. * Evaluate, diagnose, and verify the operation of digital systems and new technological tools, ensuring their correct integration, connectivity, and performance in operational environments. * Identify potential failures or design deviations and propose solutions or improvements in coordination with development and advanced technical support teams. * Document and track incidents, requests, and requirements using the appropriate management system, ensuring timely and proper resolution. * Analyze operational data to generate reports, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate on technical and commercial proposals. * Actively participate in meetings with operations and customers. * Train internal and external customers on the use and handling of implemented systems and technologies. * Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of technologies, processes, and systems related to the area of expertise. * Comply with current Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies. * Comply with guidelines established under the Integrated Management System framework, including applicable operational procedures for the sector, safety considerations, environmental protection provisions, and assigned organizational management procedures, plans, and instructions. * Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering. * Advanced English proficiency. * Minimum three years’ prior experience in drilling operations within the O\&G industry. * Experience in optimization and knowledge of optimization software, drilling fluids, and data analytics platforms is preferred.
