Collaborate with program, operations, and finance teams **TITLE:** Grants Manager **AREA:** Programs **STATUS:** Full time \- Salary **CLASIFICATION (FLSA):** Exempt **GENERAL DESCRIPTION** The Grants Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of grants and contracts to ensure compliance with funding requirements, successful program implementation, and achievement of grant objectives. This role oversees the full grant lifecycle, including grant administration, monitoring, reporting, funder communications, and compliance management. The Grants Manager will also design programmatic initiatives aligned with the Organization’s mission, priorities, and strategic plan; and write competitive grant proposals to secure funding. Working closely with program, operations, and finance teams, the Grants Manager develops fundable projects, supports their implementation, and ensures accountability to funders and stakeholders. **TASKS AND ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** * Manage a portfolio of grants and contracts to ensure compliance with all funding requirements, timelines, deliverables, and reporting obligations. * Monitor grant implementation and performance to ensure activities, expenditures, and outcomes align with approved grant proposals, budgets, and organizational priorities. * Collaborate with program, operations, finance and development teams to support the successful execution of grant\-funded initiatives. * Assist in the development of grant proposals, applications, budgets, narratives, work plans, and supporting documentation. * Track grant deadlines, reporting schedules, deliverables, and compliance requirements to ensure timely submission of all required documentation. * Work closely with the Fiscal Officer and program staff to monitor grant expenditures, budget performance, and amendment requests as needed. * Ensure compliance with grant agreements, applicable federal and state regulations (including Uniform Guidance/CFR 200 when applicable), and internal policies and procedures. * Maintain accurate grant files and documentation, including contracts, reports, correspondence, participant records, and other materials required by funders or regulatory agencies. * Serve as a liaison with funding agencies, auditors, partners, and other stakeholders regarding grant administration and compliance matters. * Conduct site visits and monitoring activities to assess program implementation, compliance, and progress toward grant objectives. * Collect, analyze, and organize programmatic and performance data to support reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts. * Prepare grant reports, performance reports, presentations, and other communications required by funders and organizational leadership. * Support internal and external audits, monitoring visits, and compliance reviews related to grant\-funded programs. * Collaborate with internal teams to track outcomes, performance indicators, and organizational impact associated with grant\-funded initiatives. * Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. **EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS \& KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED** * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Finance, Social Sciences, Education, Communications, or a related field. * Minimum of two (2\) years of experience in grants management, grant writing, program management, compliance, project management, nonprofit administration, or a related field. * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. * Experience preparing reports, proposals, budgets, or other technical documentation. * Knowledge of grant administration principles and funding compliance requirements. * Familiarity with federal grant regulations, including Uniform Guidance (CFR 200\), preferred. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. * Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. * Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and develop practical solutions. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. * Ability to interpret policies, regulations, and contractual requirements and ensure compliance. * Experience with data collection, performance measurement, and outcome tracking preferred. * Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast\-paced environment. **DISCLAIMER**: * The information presented indicates the general nature and level of work expected of employees in this classification.
