Finning, CATERPILLAR’s strategic partner and leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent to fill Official Technician roles with experience in heavy machinery maintenance; for example: autonomous trucks, engines, and their electrical systems. Location: Catamarca. This role will be responsible for performing and assisting with repairs on the general product line. Gains knowledge of Caterpillar, similar, or other machinery represented by Finning to perform more complex tasks in the future. Participates in the removal and installation of major components under direct and/or indirect supervision depending on the complexity of the assigned task in workshop / field. Guides assistants in assigned tasks. Key Activities:* Clean parts * Maintain clean and orderly work area * Collaborate with more experienced employees * Place spare parts orders * Analyze written material such as: service manuals, parts manuals, and mechanical and maintenance forms * Analyze written material such as: service manuals, parts manuals, and mechanical and maintenance forms * Remove and install external components such as hoods, guards, counterweights, plates, etc. * Perform removal and installation of major components such as hydraulic valves, engines, transmissions, major machinery components, drive shafts, etc. * Assemble and disassemble minor components * Conduct basic machine diagnostics through visual inspection of equipment * Carry out activities following instructions related to SHEQ management and actively participate in specific SHEQ actions corresponding to your area. (Ref. PRO.HS.01\.02 Standard: Responsibility for Risk Prevention and Environmental Protection), in order to comply with the Risk Prevention and Sustainable Management Policy. Required Experience and Knowledge:* Technical professional graduate from an Institute or University, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. * Demonstrate satisfactory knowledge of Mechanic B functions. * Team-oriented, eager to learn, and collaborative with peers.
