FTTH Network Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking experienced telecommunications technicians to join an FTTH maintenance crew, performing corrective maintenance on optical fiber networks. Key Points: 1. Corrective maintenance on optical fiber networks 2. Experience in optical fiber networks and handling of instruments 3. Intervention in splice closures and fusion splices on trunk networks A telecommunications company is looking to hire technicians with telecommunications experience to form an FTTH maintenance crew for our new client CLARO Maintenance Crew • Minimum 2 years of experience in optical fiber networks and handling of measurement instruments. • Perform corrective maintenance across the entire network (outside plant, inside plant, and customer buildings). • Distribution network: cable replacement and repair, CTOs, and power/distance measurements at any point. • Trunk network: intervention in splice closures, fusion splices, and measurements, even with numerous active services (no cable laying required). • For underground cables, must possess tools for splice chambers. • Must inform CLARO of the exact completion time upon commencing work.
