Joining YPF means becoming part of a project that combines experience, passion, and the energy required to continue building our future! **What Are We Looking For?** We are seeking a Planning Engineer to work on road projects committed by YPF in the province of Neuquén, responsible for developing and managing the integrated planning of projects, ensuring consistency among engineering, procurement, and construction; anticipating schedule deviations; and providing strategic support to the Project Engineer. **What Do We Value as a Differentiator?** * Academic background: Civil or Industrial Engineer, or related degree. * Professional experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure project planning, preferably road projects. Experience in complex and multi-project environments will be highly valued. * Solid knowledge of: * + Project planning and control + Critical path definition and deviation analysis + Road construction processes * Advanced proficiency in planning tools: * + MS Project + Primavera P6 * Aptitude: Analytical profile with anticipation ability, organizational skills, and results orientation. Coordination and communication skills across multiple departments and contractors. * Willingness to travel to project sites. **What Will Be Your Main Challenges?** * Develop and maintain updated engineering, procurement, and road construction schedules. * Develop the integrated program for the project portfolio, ensuring proper alignment across disciplines and phases. * Define construction sequences, key milestones, and the project’s critical path. * Monitor physical progress, analyze deviations from the baseline plan, and propose corrective actions. * Coordinate planning activities with the Project Engineer, Construction Department, and contractors. * Prepare periodic progress reports, including recovery scenarios and schedule impact analyses. * Participate in the identification and analysis of planning-related risks. * Support tendering processes by providing planning analyses, sequencing, and contractual timelines. * Assess the consistency of contractors’ schedules and their alignment with project objectives. **Position Information** * Work location: Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires * People management: Yes * Willingness to travel: Yes If you are someone who: * Works with excellence and professionalism. * Gives your best every day, values meritocracy, and always strives for the extra mile. * Views challenges as opportunities to innovate and learn. * Enjoys teamwork and exchanging diverse perspectives. * Approaches projects with passion and commitment. * Promotes a positive work environment based on empathy, active listening, and respect.
