In this role, you will be responsible for moving both structured and unstructured data from legacy or third\-party\-managed systems to secure, scalable AWS environments, ensuring high standards of data integrity, performance, and compliance throughout the process. **Responsibilities** * Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies tailored for AWS environments * Transfer data from on\-premises, third\-party, or legacy cloud systems into AWS platforms * Utilize AWS native tools such as AWS DMS, AWS DataSync, S3 Transfer Acceleration, and Snow family devices for efficient migrations * Perform database migrations to RDS and Aurora with a focus on minimizing downtime * Validate data integrity, consistency, and system performance after migration activities * Design and execute data replication, backup, and rollback plans to safeguard data * Optimize migration processes for cost efficiency, performance, and reliability * Work closely with AWS teams, solution architects, and application stakeholders during discovery and migration phases * Prepare detailed documentation including migration plans, runbooks, and operational procedures * Deliver post\-migration support and facilitate knowledge transfer to relevant teams **Requirements** * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data migration or data engineering roles * Hands\-on experience with AWS services for data migration and management * Proficiency in using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) for moving data between sources and targets * Experience with AWS DataSync for automating and accelerating data transfers * Familiarity with S3 Transfer Acceleration for optimizing large\-scale data uploads to Amazon S3 * Knowledge of Snow family devices for secure physical data transfer to AWS * Experience migrating databases to Amazon RDS and Aurora, ensuring minimal disruption * Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation
