In this role, you will be responsible for moving both structured and unstructured data from legacy or third\-party sources into secure AWS environments, upholding high standards for data accuracy, system performance, and regulatory compliance throughout each phase. **Responsibilities** * Design and implement migration strategies tailored for AWS infrastructure * Transfer data from on\-premises, external, or outdated cloud platforms into AWS environments * Leverage AWS solutions such as AWS DMS, AWS DataSync, S3 Transfer Acceleration, and Snow family devices to facilitate efficient migrations * Perform database transitions to RDS and Aurora with a focus on minimizing downtime * Verify data completeness, consistency, and system functionality after migration is complete * Establish and maintain processes for data replication, backup, and rollback to ensure data safety * Refine migration procedures to maximize cost\-effectiveness, speed, and reliability * Collaborate with AWS experts, architects, and application teams during planning and migration phases * Develop comprehensive documentation, including migration blueprints, runbooks, and operational manuals * Provide ongoing support after migration and deliver knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders **Requirements** * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data migration or data engineering roles * Hands\-on experience with AWS services for data management and migration * Proficient in using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) for data transfer between platforms * Experience utilizing AWS DataSync to automate and accelerate data migration * Knowledge of S3 Transfer Acceleration for managing large\-scale data uploads to Amazon S3 * Experience with Snow family devices for secure physical data migration to AWS * Proven track record of migrating databases to Amazon RDS and Aurora with minimal disruption * Excellent English communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration
