**Job Profile: CNC Pantograph Operator Area:** Production / Material Cutting and Preparation **Location:** Metallurgical workshop / AVELLANEDA **Job Objective** Perform cutting of metallic materials using CNC pantographs (plasma, oxy-fuel or laser), ensuring precision, efficiency and compliance with technical specifications for each job. **Main Responsibilities** * Prepare and set up the CNC pantograph according to the type of work and material. * Interpret blueprints, sketches and cutting files (DXF/DWG). * Load programs and adjust cutting parameters (speed, height, amperage, gases, etc.). * Monitor the cutting process and verify piece quality. * Perform basic equipment maintenance and record used consumables. * Comply with industrial safety standards and maintain workplace organization. * Collaborate with other production areas (welding, assembly, machining, dispatch). **Technical Knowledge** * Operation of CNC pantographs (plasma, oxy-fuel or laser). * Reading and interpretation of technical drawings. * Basic CNC programming (G/M Codes or CAM software: *FastCAM, Pronest, SigmaNEST, AutoCAD*). * Knowledge of metallic materials (steel types, thicknesses, cutting behavior). * Use of measuring instruments (caliper, tape measure, square). * Basic maintenance of industrial equipment. * Industrial hygiene and safety regulations. **Soft Skills** * Responsibility and commitment. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Organization and cleanliness in work. * Teamwork and communication with supervisors. * Ability to detect faults or deviations. * Proactivity and willingness for continuous learning. **Required Education** * **Completed secondary education (technical preferred):** mechanical, electromechanical or metallurgical specialization. * Courses or certifications in CNC, plasma/laser cutting, AutoCAD or similar (desirable). **Work Experience** * Minimum **2 years of proven experience** operating CNC pantographs. * Previous experience in metallurgical workshops, boiler-making or metal structures is desirable.
