




Position Summary: General Procurement Analyst responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and executing optimal procurement options for goods and services to ensure operational supply. Internal advisory to optimize product and service costs. **UNIÓN PERSONAL HEALTH INSURANCE** is seeking a **GENERAL PROCUREMENT ANALYST** for its **PROCUREMENT AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT** department. **POSITION OBJECTIVE** Evaluate, analyze, and execute the best procurement option for general goods and services—considering price, quality, delivery timelines, and financing terms—to ensure supply of required goods and services for internal customers, supporting the normal operation of the Health Insurance, its clinics, and medical centers. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Procure supplies, materials, equipment, and various services. * Negotiate with suppliers to ensure optimal cost-to-quality ratio. * Monitor purchase order status with suppliers. * Efficiently address urgent procurement requests to meet extraordinary needs while complying with established tender procedures. * Develop and update the supplier portfolio. * Analyze, research, and advise internal customers on products and services to optimize costs. * Follow up and file claims with suppliers regarding agreed-upon deliveries of supplies and services. * Prepare quotations and report them to relevant internal departments. * Request product samples from suppliers when appropriate. * Track, maintain, and update required information and documentation related to suppliers. * Advise, analyze, and propose alternative suppliers for assigned categories. **REQUIRED COMPETENCIES** Results-oriented, Collaborative teamwork, Customer-oriented, Communication, Commitment. **EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS** * Prior experience in similar roles handling high-volume procurement, with over 3 years of experience. * Excellent negotiation skills.
