Requirements: -At least three years of experience in problem anticipation. -Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (preferred). -Proactive profile with continuous improvement orientation. -Ability to anticipate issues and apply preventive thinking. -Technical judgment for decision-making in critical environments. -Clear communication and collaborative work with infrastructure and development teams. Mandatory Knowledge: -Verifiable senior experience in DB2 for i (AS/400, IBM i) administration. -Experience in highly critical production environments. -Advanced proficiency in SQL (native and embedded) and CL commands. -Strong knowledge of: ? Execution plans ? Indexing strategies ? Journaling ? Backup & Recovery -Security and access control ? Replication / High Availability -Experience in proactive performance analysis and operational risk management. Responsibilities: -Advanced administration of DB2 for i databases in development, testing, and production environments. -Comprehensive management of backups, restorations, and periodic recovery tests. -Performance analysis and optimization (SQL tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing). -Proactive monitoring and early detection of risks. -Implementation and improvement of security policies and access controls. -Management of journaling, replication, and high-availability mechanisms. -Specialized technical support to development teams for data modeling and optimization. -Active participation in critical incident management and root cause analysis. -Technical documentation and continuous improvement of operational standards.
