Engineers have direct influence on product direction and regularly see their work reach production. #### **About the Role** We're seeking a Mobile Engineer with experience building both web and mobile applications using React and React Native. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating polished user experiences, working closely with product leadership, and contributing to applications used at scale. You'll collaborate with engineering leadership and cross\-functional stakeholders to build, enhance, and optimize both web and mobile experiences while helping shape the technical direction of a growing platform. #### **What You'll Do** * Build and maintain modern web applications using React and Next.js. * Develop and enhance mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native. * Deliver high\-quality features across web and mobile platforms with a focus on usability, performance, and reliability. * Optimize application performance, rendering, routing, and component architecture. * Collaborate with designers, product stakeholders, and backend engineers to implement new functionality. * Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs while ensuring efficient state management and error handling. * Participate in sprint planning, standups, code reviews, and ongoing product discussions. * Contribute to front\-end architecture decisions and engineering best practices. * Write and maintain automated tests to support long\-term application stability and maintainability. #### **Required Qualifications** * Minimum **1 year of professional experience developing web applications with React**. * Minimum **1 year of professional experience building mobile applications with React Native**. * Strong knowledge of React.js and Next.js, including routing, SSR, SSG, and performance optimization techniques. * Experience developing and maintaining React Native applications for iOS and Android. * Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6\+) and asynchronous programming concepts. * Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI development practices. * Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs. * Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. * Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, iterative product environment. #### **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with TypeScript. * Exposure to Node.js environments such as Express or NestJS. * Experience working on data\-intensive, analytics, marketplace, or real estate technology platforms. * Familiarity with mobile performance optimization and native module integrations. #### **What We're Looking For** * Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. * Proactive problem\-solver who takes ownership of projects and outcomes. * Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills. * Comfortable working directly with leadership and contributing ideas. * Adaptable and energized by fast\-moving environments where iteration and continuous improvement are valued. #### **Work Details** **Location:** Latin America (Remote) **Schedule:** Must be available during U.S. Eastern Time business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST) **Employment Type:** Full\-Time International Independent Contractor If you're excited about building products used by millions of users, enjoy moving quickly, and want to make a meaningful impact across both web and mobile platforms, we'd love to hear from you.
