We are looking for a **Data Platform Engineer** to join a renowned leading company in payment solutions, within the **Big Data \& Analytics** area. Your role will be key in the design, implementation, and support of data pipelines, managing one of the largest and most complex information storage environments in Argentina. You will be part of a team driving innovation and strengthening the organization's data\-driven culture. **What challenges await you** * Design and implement solutions handling large volumes of data, ensuring high performance and scalability. * Be responsible for the complete lifecycle of data pipelines: implementation, support, automation (Control\-M), and environment transitions (development, certification, production). * Manage the company's data platform ecosystem (Informatica CDI, Teradata, MicroStrategy, AWS DataSync, and Data Lake). * Handle incidents and cancellations, participating in passive on\-call shifts. * Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and Data Scientists to enhance platform functionalities. * Measure performance and propose continuous improvements to ensure process efficiency and integrity. **Requirements for the position** * Ongoing or completed university degree in Systems/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. * Experience developing ETL processes using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (or PowerCenter) / IBM DataStage. * Strong SQL skills and experience with databases (relational and NoSQL). * Knowledge of Python. * Experience with Hadoop (Hive, Sqoop, Spark, HDFS). * Experience working with AWS (EMR, Lambda, S3, Athena, Step Functions). * Familiarity with GitLab. **Also valued** * Experience with Terraform. * Knowledge of Teradata. * Experience with streaming technologies (Amazon Kinesis, MSK, Kafka). * Knowledge of Data Warehousing \& Data Modeling. * Experience with agile methodologies. * Proficiency in technical English. **Profile we are looking for** * ETL Developer or Data Engineer oriented toward support and continuous improvement. * Service orientation, attention to detail, and organizational skills. * Interest in pipeline deployment, monitoring, and performance rather than pure development. * Willingness to participate in on\-call shifts. **What our client offers** * Direct employment with a leading company in its sector. * Professional development programs: training, university scholarships, internal mobility, certifications, language courses, innovation initiatives, and recognition programs. * Flexibility, wellness, and health benefits: top\-tier private healthcare, sports programs, meal/snack bonuses, internet allowances. * A diverse, collaborative, and inclusive environment with modern and attractive workspaces. * Social activities, talks, events, and celebrations.
