




Here’s what the person in this role will do: * Analyze process differences between the current model and new models to be implemented at the Pacheco plant. * Diagnose and resolve internal and external quality issues in Powertrain and interior systems. * Implement solutions and improvements to optimize production line efficiency. * Work independently and proactively to identify and solve problems. * Maintain clear and effective communication with the local team and teams in Thailand and South Africa. * Implement innovation and waste reduction projects. * Lead continuous improvement initiatives on the production line. * Collaborate with the plant team to implement new technologies and processes. * Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement. * Apply manufacturing tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing. * Use data analysis tools (Alteryx, Qlik, Minitab, or similar) for decision-making. * Actively participate in continuous improvement processes and quality problem resolution. * Promote a culture of innovation and growth mindset within the team. * Demonstrate strong knowledge in Manufacturing Engineering, leadership skills, and teamwork. * Be able to solve problems autonomously and contribute expertise in quality, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
