As a **Data & Analytics Engineer** at Mercado Libre, you will design and scale innovative and secure systems that solve real, high-impact problems. Imagine taking on challenging, dynamic, and innovative projects and **being responsible for**: * Generating metrics for the analysis of Data Products: tables, dashboards, metrics, ML models, agents, created within Mercado Libre, aiming to design initiatives that improve data quality, integrity, security, and discoverability. * Implementing actions to optimize the use of technological resources, improving efficiency and reducing costs in pipelines across the company. * Defining and developing processes to determine the lineage and criticality of data assets, ensuring proper traceability. * Designing processes to measure the Business Impact Analysis of Data Products, evaluating their relevance and business value. * Developing workflows on the Verdi platform, including creating APIs that facilitate data access and consumption by other teams. * Collaborating with the Data Suite development teams, our in-house tool, to deliver and implement key functionalities within the Data Catalog, Dash Catalog, Query Builder, and Data Flow, and researching and adopting innovative industry trends and tools to enhance Data Product management. **What are we looking for?** * More than 5 years of experience in similar roles working on end-to-end technical projects in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or Data Science. * Proficiency in SQL and Python for analysis, automation, and solution development. * Experience building end-to-end solutions and collaborating across multiple technical areas. * Mastery of current tools and concepts in the GenAI ecosystem, with the ability to evaluate and implement new technologies. * Experience developing cloud applications: AWS, GCP. **Are you ready to make your mark on Latin America’s technology landscape?** Apply now and join our mission!
