Collaborate closely with development teams to understand database requirements and optimize structure based on application needs. Maintain detailed technical documentation on database architecture and configuration. Ensure databases comply with relevant standards and regulations. Requirements What we are looking for: At least 5 years of experience in DBA or database administration roles within complex production environments. Proven experience in companies with critical operations and high data volumes (e.g., banking, telecommunications, e-commerce). Participation in database migration projects (on-premise to cloud, between different DBMS versions, etc.). Verifiable certifications in Microsoft SQL Server courses, Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate, MongoDB, Redis. Technical Requirements 1. Database Administration: Experience in advanced administration of databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis. In-depth knowledge of database architectures, partitioning, replication, and clustering. Experience managing databases in the cloud (Azure SQL Database, MongoDB Atlas, Redis Cloud). Knowledge of how to integrate Redis with other technologies, such as relational databases, NoSQL, and development frameworks. Experience supporting application development teams using SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis as databases or caches. 2. Performance and Optimization: Mastery of performance optimization techniques (SQL query tuning, indexing, and schema optimization). Experience with performance monitoring tools and parameter tuning to improve efficiency. Knowledge of execution plans and experience detecting and resolving bottlenecks. 3. Security: Implementation of data security policies (encryption, authentication, audits). Management of permissions, roles, and database access. 4. Backup and Recovery: Experience with advanced backup and recovery strategies. Proficiency with replication and disaster recovery technologies. Ability to perform recovery tests and ensure data integrity. 5. Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for task automation. (NOT EXCLUSIVE) Experience automating backups, monitoring, and database maintenance. 6. Deployments and CI/CD: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment for databases. Familiarity with DevOps tools and databases. 7. High Availability Support: Experience with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) architectures.
