Structured as a matrix organization comprising six geographic regions and ten platforms, Louis Dreyfus Company operates in more than 100 countries and employs approximately 18,000 people globally. **Job Description** **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Development and management of the customer portfolio, strengthening the LDC brand locally. * Monitoring of the procurement center’s P&L and budget. * Leading the development of the commercial team, aligned with LDC’s strategy. * Sharing relevant business information across departments (e.g., planting intentions, yields, weather, financial status, crop technology, etc.). * Coordination with support functions (Industry, Domestic Execution, Logistics, Risk, etc.). **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Defining commercial terms with producers jointly with the Commercial Manager. * Managing the customer portfolio and developing new prospects. * Origination of G&O (soybeans, corn, wheat, sunflower, sorghum, barley). Focus on sustainability. * Monitoring the procurement center’s commercial position (to receive, to deliver, pricing, etc.). * Sale of fertilizers, agrochemicals, and seeds. Promoting barter transactions. * Development of new products (camelina, carinata, sustainability programs). * Assessing customer needs and proposing financing alternatives. Responsible for initial credit risk analysis and debt collection. * Interacting with the Logistics Coordinator to organize deliveries. * Coordinating with the Industry Manager and Plant Manager on matters related to maintenance, improvements, safety, and quality at facilities. * Oversight and initial approval of expenses and purchases. * Monitoring and adherence to P&L and budget targets. **Qualifications** **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:** * Preferably with knowledge and experience in the grain market. * University degree in Economics or Agricultural Sciences. **SKILLS:** * Proactivity. * Leadership. * Empathy. * Negotiation ability. * Fluent communication and strong interpersonal skills. * Adaptability and resilience. **COMPETENCIES:** * Strong oral and written expression. * Commercial profile. * Entrepreneurial mindset. * Proficiency in sector-specific technical language. * Proficiency in IT tools
