That is the V Attitude—the attitude representing the pillars that drive us to keep adding value every day to the lives of millions of people. **What We Are Looking For** ------------------------- As a Cloud Sysadmin covering the night shift (00 to 6 AM), your mission is to ensure operational excellence in managing and maintaining Veritran's productive and pre-productive cloud platforms, guaranteeing the availability, performance, and security of systems supporting our clients' critical operations, reaching millions of end users who rely on our solutions. As a Cloud SysAdmin, you will implement best practices, optimize resources, and effectively respond to technical needs, contributing to our clients' ongoing success and to the company's market reputation. For this role, we require demonstrated knowledge and experience in: * **Configuration and Deployment:** Configure and deploy infrastructures on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, EKS, etc. Implement configuration and security best practices in cloud environments. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Perform regular patch and version updates on Linux operating systems and AWS services to ensure stability and security. Implement and maintain automated backups of critical data to prevent information loss. * **Corrective Maintenance:** Diagnose and resolve incidents and technical issues related to Linux operating systems, the Veritran platform, and cloud services. Collaborate with other teams for rapid and efficient resolution of critical issues. * **Monitoring and Optimization:** Monitor system and application performance using monitoring tools implemented in Veritran's cloud environment and other monitoring systems. Identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimizing resources to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. * **Security and Compliance:** Implement security policies and access controls according to Veritran’s policies. Regularly audit cloud environments to ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies, and external certifications. * **Documentation and Collaboration:** Document technical procedures, system configurations, and user guides to maintain shared knowledge and facilitate support.
