For a better future? **\#WeAreLear** Lear is seeking a **Launch Supervisor** to work at the **Pacheco** plant. **What will you do?** * Preparation, scheduling, and control of project Capex and expenses (Budget and Forecasts). * Ensure flawless execution of launch activities (new plants and/or new products) according to the schedule defined with the Program Manager and Vehicle Leader. * Guarantee expense execution in accordance with the Program Financial Approval (PFA) and forecasts established with the Finance Department. * Ensure scope changes are quoted and approved prior to implementation, avoiding and/or recovering cost deviations. * Lead activity tracking meetings with cross-functional operational department teams, defining responsibilities and deadlines to meet project objectives and key milestones. * Prepare and present periodic project reviews to management and leadership. * Ensure all procurement processes for each project start without delays and comply with the scope defined during the quotation process, unless approved scope changes are implemented. * Monitor all requisitions and purchase orders to ensure timely issuance according to schedule and cost, aligning with installation and construction phases. * Define, together with Plant Manufacturing Engineering and the Vehicle Leader, deadlines for component receipt to prevent delays in tooling/equipment development and validation. * Participate in senior management reviews, supporting department leadership and the Program Manager. * Monitor prototype production and pilot phases for each project event. * Support the execution of infrastructure installations and necessary layout adjustments according to project needs/scope. * Ensure engineering changes, especially late ones, do not compromise launch events, particularly regarding product quality and safety. * Obtain internal agreements with PCP and Operations to properly plan and schedule incoming and outgoing logistics, anticipating acceleration of new program lines, meeting customer-agreed production levels (R@Rate). * Lead Run @ Rate events. * Monitor and report production ramp-up (learning curves), informing Operations, Launch, and AME Management, addressing deviations with process engineering and production to make necessary corrections and recover production and inventory levels. * Support the Regional or Local Launch Manager in customer communication. **What does Lear expect from you?** * Completed university degree (Engineering). * Experience in automotive industry companies * Prior exposure to change or project management * Knowledge of production processes Differentials: * Fluent English * Spanish and Portuguese communication skills
