Job Responsibilities + Verify compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management Systems according to ISO 9001–14001–45001 standards, if certified under the contract to which they are assigned. + Implement core EHS, Zero Zone, CCM, and Life-Saving Rules. + Implement, verify, and monitor compliance with policies, standards, and procedures related to Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment—both internal and external—under the assigned contract. + Advise on Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental matters regarding applicable legal and internal regulations. + Support, advise, and provide assistance to internal and external clients on Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental matters. + Conduct field visits to various work fronts where Sandvik personnel operate within the client’s facilities. + Coordinate emergency brigade activities at the site under their responsibility, as applicable. + Conduct planned and unplanned inspections, Behavioral Observations, and Safety, Health, and Environmental training and instruction for the assigned contract. + Participate in incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions. + Deliver EHS induction courses to all personnel joining the Company within their area of activity. + Review and prepare accident and incident statistics and conduct corresponding analyses by position and sector. + Review the ongoing status of various controls indicated in safety reports, periodic inspections, and identified and reported unsafe conditions. + Provide occasional coverage for other contracts as requested. + Verify delivery and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work clothing. + Prepare EHS audit reports. + Advise and support the development of Operational Work Instructions and Procedures. + Manage the EHS 360–Power BI platform. + Train personnel in accordance with the Annual EHS Plan and legal requirements. + Document control of the Safety Package, Program, or Plan. + Manage, control, and track medical examinations for personnel associated with their contract/area. + Manage and control the annual hygiene and safety measurement program, identify findings, manage the action plan, and perform corresponding follow-up. + Ensure compliance with mandatory training and OnBoarding plans (Code of Conduct, ABC, Competition Law), and maintain their proper updates in Sandvik Group training platforms, as applicable. + Serve as Hygiene and Safety representative within their area of responsibility, as applicable. + Operate company vehicles to reach relevant worksites. + Attend visits and/or inspections conducted by regulatory bodies, as applicable, within their contract/area—whether internal or external. + Maintain control and update of all legal documentation pertinent to the site under their responsibility. + Generate periodic reports on relevant information regarding EHS management at the site under their responsibility.
