### **AI/ML Scientist / GenAI Engineer \- Spain (100% Remote)** **Location:** Spain (100% remote, from within Spain) **Contract:** Full\-time **Languages:** English B2/C1 (international environment) **Requirement:** Spanish NIE, or EU Passport, must reside in or be willing to relocate to Spain. **About the role** ---------------- We are seeking an **AI/ML Scientist / GenAI Engineer** to research, design, and implement **advanced AI algorithms** (ML, DL, NLP and more), and bring them **into production** in collaboration with Data and Product teams. The focus is on achieving **measurable business impact** with models that are **reliable, explainable, and fair**. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Research, design, and implement **AI algorithms** (ML/DL/NLP) to solve complex problems. * Translate business challenges into **scientific problems** and build **prototypes/models** with real impact. * Work with **large\-scale data** (structured and unstructured) to build **accurate, fair, and sustainable models**. * Collaborate with **Data Engineers, MLOps, Product Owners**, and business units to **deploy into production**. * Contribute to **best practices in AI**, **model governance**, and **Responsible AI**. * Stay up to date with **cutting\-edge research** and integrate relevant tools/techniques. * **Communicate findings** to both technical and non\-technical audiences. * Drive collaborations with **academia and the global AI community** to bring state\-of\-the\-art research into the business. **Requirements (Must\-have)** --------------------------- * **PhD or MSc** in **CS, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering** or related fields. * **Demonstrated impact**: AI solutions **in production** *or* **publications** in top AI/ML conferences/journals. * Strong programming skills in **Python** (or similar) and deep expertise in **PyTorch / TensorFlow / scikit\-learn / Hugging Face Transformers**. * End\-to\-end experience: experimentation, **deployment**, adaptation, and **monitoring** throughout the model lifecycle. * Solid understanding of **metrics**, **bias mitigation**, **explainability**, and **fairness**. **Plus (Nice\-to\-have)** ------------------------- * Practical experience with **Generative AI** (LLMs, **diffusion models**) **in production**. * Experience with **scalable infrastructure**, **cloud deployments**, and **MLOps**. * Knowledge of the **financial sector** or other **regulated industries**. * **Open\-source contributions** or recognized leadership within the AI community. **Work mode \& conditions** ---------------------------- * **100% remote in Spain** (local contract). * Work setup with **agile collaboration** (Scrum/Kanban), **code reviews**, **CI/CD**, and quality standards. **How to apply** ----------------------- * If you meet the requirements, apply directly here. * If this isn't for you, please share it with a colleague who fits the criteria! **Thank you!**
