We are looking for a **Software Development Engineer with solid experience in IBM Informix**, to join a key technical team within the database development and optimization area. The role involves working on critical business projects, ensuring stability, efficiency, and scalability of the bank's core systems. The position combines remote work with occasional on-site presence in **CABA**, within a collaborative, challenging, and continuously improving environment. #### **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain solutions based on **IBM Informix**. * Optimize database performance, indexes, and SQL queries. * Manage data structures, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. * Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and data analysis teams. * Participate in **system migration and continuous performance improvement** projects. * Document developments and contribute to data architecture design. #### **Required Qualifications and Skills:** * \+5 years of proven experience in **development with IBM Informix**. * Advanced proficiency in **SQL, Stored Procedures, triggers, and Informix-specific functions**. * Experience in **database modeling** and performance optimization. * Knowledge of administration and monitoring tools (**dbaccess, onstat, oncheck**, among others). * Strong familiarity with **Linux/Unix** environments. * Ability to work in complex environments with multiple stakeholders. #### **Desirable Skills:** * Experience in **integrating Informix with other technologies** (ETL, APIs, etc.). * Knowledge of **Python, Java, or Shell Scripting**. * Experience in **financial environments or high-criticality systems**. * Familiarity with **agile methodologies** (Scrum, Kanban). #### **Project Environment and Benefits:** * **Mode:** 100% Remote.
