We are seeking a General Project Manager with proven experience in complex technological projects within the financial sector, preferably in IBM z/OS mainframe environments and modernization or core financial systems migration processes. The role will be responsible for end-to-end management and execution of a major project in the financial industry, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality, outcomes, scope, costs, and governance as defined with the Client. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the planning, execution, and control of the overall program, ensuring cross-functional coordination between IT Patagonia's technical teams, the Client, and involved third parties. * Define and maintain the project's governance structure (Steering Committee, Coordination Committee, technical and functional follow-up). * Supervise the different service tracks (subprojects). * Manage risks, dependencies, changes, and mitigation plans with a preventive approach. * Ensure knowledge transfer, regulatory compliance (BCRA, ISO 9001\), and alignment with the Client’s technology strategy. * Consolidate executive and technical reports for Follow-up Committees, presenting progress, deviations, and critical decisions. * Prepare and present project status reports to managerial and executive audiences. * Promote synergy among Mainframe, Open Platform, Architecture, DevOps, and Security teams, ensuring traceability and operational continuity. * Represent the contractor in formal meetings with the Client, ensuring a fluid, transparent, and professional communication channel. Ideal Candidate Profile: * Education: Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. * Experience: \+10 years managing large-scale technological projects; \+5 years in banking or financial services. * Specific experience in: o Migrations and modernization of mainframe environments (IBM z/OS, COBOL, CICS, DB2, MQ). o Integration and optimization projects for platforms and application ecosystems. o Implementation of BI/observability dashboards and management of operational KPIs. o Coordination of multidisciplinary teams and managed services. * Desired certifications: PMP® / PMI\-ACP®, ITIL®, SAFe®, TOGAF®, BIAN Foundation. * Valued knowledge: o Experience with public projects or regulated tenders. o Reengineering and modernization of mainframe processes. o Design and implementation of control dashboards and performance metrics. o Development, platform, and infrastructure projects. o Hybrid architectures, their integrations, and service exposure.
