Ongoing training with highly qualified professionals **Location:** Gestamp Baires\-Escobar I, AR, Gestamp Ba **\#job\-location.job\-location\-inline { display:** inline; } **Date:** Jul 30, 2026 Job Mission Perform metallographic and mechanical tests on parts from the hot stamping process to ensure product quality meets customer requirements, interacting with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality departments in response to any deviations observed during laboratory testing. **Main Responsibilities:** * Conduct metallography and tensile testing according to the control plan defined for the hot stamping process. * Adhere to the scheduled testing frequency plan. * Develop and maintain laboratory area instructions (scope, responsibilities, etc.). * Manage departmental performance indicators. * Provide technical support during root cause analysis meetings in response to potential quality alerts and/or nonconformities. * Oversee calibration tracking for laboratory equipment. **Key Requirements:** * Knowledge of ferrous materials * Quality standards (automotive industry) * Proficiency with laboratory equipment (hardness testers – electron microscopes – metallographic mounting presses – tensile testing machines) .
