Wood is seeking a Project Manager to join its Process and Chemicals business unit. This opportunity is located in Capital Federal, Argentina.
**The Role**
Wood is seeking a Project Manager with over 12 years of experience. The position will be based in Capital Federal, Argentina. We are targeting a university-educated professional (engineering) with strong conversational English skills and solid experience managing large projects with multidisciplinary teams.

* P&L (Profit & Loss) responsibility with corresponding commercial and financial accountability, including revenue delivery, margin and overhead management, budget and forecast determination and adherence, risk and opportunity reviews, cost controls, accounts payable/invoicing, and cash collection.
* Contributes to and reviews the proposal and project plan to determine schedule, execution procedures, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources across project phases. Also contributes to establishing project evaluation criteria.
* Negotiates changes in project scope or specifications with the client.
* Follows the Change Management process to identify and approve modifications to scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
* Identifies and develops innovation opportunities—such as digitalization and technology adoption, collaborative working, and high-value engineering centers—to deliver value to Wood and the client.
* Establishes project procedures and leads development of the project execution plan, including scope of work, deliverables list, master schedule, budget, organizational charts, risk register, etc.
* Provides regular progress updates on the project to senior management and/or the client.
* Responsible for meeting agreed schedule and financial performance, proactively intervening to prevent deviations.
* Ensures project team members possess the competence required to perform assigned work.
* Leads continuous focus on risk identification and mitigation throughout project execution.
* Guides and leads a multidisciplinary team, which may include external specialists and personnel from multiple offices and sites.

**Expected:**
* University degree in a relevant discipline.
* Preferably certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM), or equivalent certification.
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience:**
* Mastery of their area and understanding of impacts on other areas. Preferably with experience in complex, large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.
* Strong knowledge of project management techniques and practices.
* Deep understanding of project objectives, drivers, and strategies.
* Experience in developing and implementing success metrics and benefits across multiple projects.
* Knowledge of stakeholder prioritization and development of stakeholder management plans.
* Has interacted with key stakeholders on projects multiple times to elicit, develop, and maintain requirements and acceptance criteria.
* Good knowledge of industry and company risk management processes. Familiar with qualitative assessment methods and some knowledge of quantitative techniques.
* Ability to use common estimation techniques to calculate costs for standard projects.
* Good knowledge of contractual models, conditions, types, and their suitability in different situations.
* Ability to effectively initiate multi-phase projects and develop project execution plans.
* Solid knowledge of international and company quality assurance standards.
* Knowledge of commercial and contractual conditions applicable to procurement of various goods and services.
* In-depth knowledge of scheduling techniques, their properties, and applications.
* Good knowledge and experience in project monitoring and forecasting.
* Ability to manage the change control process on projects involving multiple subcontractors and interfaces.
* In-depth knowledge of all types of project information (deliverables) and their uses, and ability to manage the project information management team.
* Good knowledge of all closure and handover activities required for the client, company, and suppliers.
* Understanding of cash flow management, as well as cost forecasting and final cost projection.
