Enable service squads to deliver applications with minimal friction Our client is a B2B SaaS company that provides a comprehensive financial operations (FinOps) platform for subscription-based businesses, seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining shared infrastructure across all teams. They own Kubernetes clusters, shared platform components, and enable devops-liaisons embedded in service squads to deliver their applications with minimal friction. Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters and shared Kubernetes components * Manage VPC, VPN, IAM Identity Center, and other foundational infrastructure * Maintain infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) for all shared and productionized service * Specific infrastructure * Develop and maintain Helm chart templates and new Helm charts for service squads * Manage load balancers, ingress controllers, and the path from internet to application * Maintain database servers, Redis servers, Elasticsearch servers, and other data infrastructure Requirements: * Bachelorʼs degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience * 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles, with at least 3 years focused on Kubernetes * Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, internals, and ecosystem tools * Strong experience with AWS (EKS), VPC networking, and IAM * Proficiency with Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps tooling (ArgoCD) * Strong experience with observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Loki * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) * Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling * Experience with secrets management (Doppler, Vault, or similar) * Understanding of networking: CNI plugins, ingress controllers, load balancers, service mesh * Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Buildkite) * Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC1, SOC2, ISO) * Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills * Preferred Qualifications * Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certification * Experience with multi-cluster management * Experience managing infrastructure for multiple service teams * Experience with FinOps and cost optimization strategies * Experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) and structuring codebases to maximize AI-assisted development effectiveness Type of position: Full-time Salary: $4.000.000,00 - $5.000.000,00 per month Workplace: Remote
