**Product & Material Engineer** At Essity, we are looking for a Product & Material Engineer to join the Initiatives team. The role will lead innovation and cost-saving projects in products and materials, ensuring effective execution and achievement of strategic objectives. We are seeking a graduate professional in Industrial, Chemical, Food Engineering or related fields, with at least 3 years of proven experience in areas such as processes, packaging, production, quality, or development. The Product & Material Engineer will be responsible for: * Leading changes in material lists and specifications. * Coordinating the development of new materials, products, and packaging. * Creating technical packaging data sheets (primary, secondary, palletization, and logistics). * Leading product launches and relaunches, as well as supervising the first production batch after implemented changes. * Continuously identifying opportunities for new cost-saving projects. * Providing technical support to production regarding packaging and materials. * Managing the creation and modification of new codes and material lists. * Validating products in response to technological changes in machinery. * Driving supplier development to optimize inputs. * Conducting validation tests following acquisition of new equipment. * Acting as the liaison with Marketing to confirm project feasibility and support launches. * Designing mechanical packaging drawings and coordinating graphic artwork. * Identifying cost-saving opportunities and leading associated projects. * Participating in multidisciplinary teams, ensuring KPIs are met. * Ensuring compliance with Essity procedures in new developments. * Collaborating with the Integrated Management System according to regulatory requirements. **Requirements** * Degree in Industrial, Chemical, Food Engineering or related field * Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing (processes, packaging, quality, or development) * Intermediate English proficiency * Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset **What We Can Offer You** ------------------------- Our purpose, Breaking Barriers to Well-Being, provides meaning to everything we do.
