You will use Pandas/Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB, deliver through GitHub Actions and Bicep, and help run orchestration with Airflow/dbt/Streamlit—apply today. **Responsibilities** * Deliver FastAPI web services along with background jobs * Build and refine processing and reporting workflows with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Plan and design pipelines using data lakes, medallion architecture, and star schema * Automate build, test, and release processes with GitHub Actions * Deploy and integrate Azure services including Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Maintain and automate infrastructure using Bicep or equivalent AWS CDK or Terraform skills * Practice spec\-driven development with support from GitHub Copilot and Claude Code * Integrate orchestration and reporting capabilities via Airflow, dbt, or Streamlit **Requirements** * At least 3 years of working experience in Python development focused on data engineering * Expertise using Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, or DuckDB to support processing and reporting * Experience with FastAPI for web APIs, services, and background jobs * Knowledge of pipeline patterns using data lakes, medallion architecture, or star schema * Strong proficiency in GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation * Azure development experience with Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, or SignalR * Competency in Bicep for IaC automation or transferable experience with AWS CDK or Terraform * Experience applying AI\-assisted development tools including GitHub Copilot or Claude Code * Understanding of Airflow, dbt, or Streamlit for orchestration and reporting **Nice to have** * Knowledge of distributed processing, async workflows, or enterprise messaging patterns * Experience with Snowflake features such as stored procedures, streams, tasks, pipes, or time travel * Background in .NET Core for .NET web development * Familiarity with Angular or Next.js web development
