**We are looking for:** A detail\-oriented Bookkeeper with recent experience in inventory\-based businesses to support our Finance team. Wholesale or food industry experience is a strong plus. This role handles full\-cycle Accounts Payable, provides AR coverage, and maintains accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. **Responsibilities** **Accounts Payable:** * Receive, review, and verify bills; enter bills into Bill.com/QBO with proper coding. * Set up and maintain vendor files, including W\-9s; resolve discrepancies with vendors and operations. * Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate records. * Ensure compliance with company policies and generate reports as needed. **Accounts Receivable:** * Understand AR and collections. * Cover AR functions as needed. **Bookkeeping:** * Oversee the monthly audit of the books. * Support inventory management, including reconciliation and adjustments. * Maintain knowledge of payroll processes. * Record and maintain financial transactions; ensure compliance with legal requirements. * Prepare financial reports by collecting and summarizing account information. * Provide support to Finance as needed.
