You will collaborate with other developers, software architects, and stakeholders to build and maintain robust solutions that optimize workflows and support complex business areas. To ensure success, it is essential to stay current with the latest backend development technologies and tools, identify best practices for each project, develop and test APIs and microservices in Python, optimize backend performance to ensure efficiency and scalability, and integrate services into production platforms—both cloud-based (AWS, Azure) and on-premises. Additionally, you must continuously monitor and improve production systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement APIs and microservices in Python. Integrate backend services with relational and NoSQL databases. Optimize backend performance, ensuring high availability and scalability. Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration. Ensure code quality by implementing unit and integration tests. Deploy and integrate applications into production environments using cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Monitor, maintain, and improve production systems, resolving issues as needed. Document developments, processes, and project outcomes. Mandatory Skills – Prior Experience – Requirements: Experience programming in languages such as R, Go, Java, or Python (mandatory). Experience developing REST APIs, designing NoSQL databases, and optimizing relational databases (RDBMS). Five or more years of backend development experience with Python (mandatory). Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs. Knowledge of frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Familiarity with microservice architecture principles and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) (desirable). Experience with code versioning tools (Git) and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus. Education: University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. Desirable Skills (not mandatory): Critical thinking and ability to solve complex problems. Teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
