




Job Summary: Wood is seeking an Instrumentation Supervisor with extensive mining industry experience to lead teams, coordinate operations, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards Wood is seeking an Instrumentation Supervisor to work in northern Argentina, with extensive experience in the mining industry. The position will join the P\&C business unit. * Organize and control company resources by providing leadership, clear direction, and setting a positive example for assigned personnel * Achieve scheduling, cost, and profitability objectives while adhering to safety and quality requirements and company policies * Responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling daily field operations to achieve scheduled work progress in assigned areas where the contractor is working * Interpret client drawings and specifications * Ensure contractors perform their work within the scope of their contract regarding quality * Jointly review construction drawings aligned with project progress and provide feedback on them * Supervise module and instrument handling and installation * Work closely with the Construction Specialist regarding scheduling priorities and quality feedback * Provide reports to QA/QC Coordination regarding scheduling priorities and quality feedback * Ensure correct field work execution in accordance with technical drawings and specifications through on-site presence and observation * Report any issues or incidents to management (e.g., employee relations, safety, quality) * Supervise and manage subcontracted work as required * Perform other related duties as assigned by management * Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, University Senior Technician, or related discipline * Minimum 5 years of experience in: + Oil\&Gas projects + Inspections + Development of basic and detailed engineering + Mining projects * Experience in oil, gas, chemical, or pharmaceutical sectors * Knowledge of project scheduling and its contractual/financial importance * Ability to read design drawings and specifications * Conduct field inspections and produce reports for various construction activities * Practical knowledge of civil codes and standards applicable to refinery and mining plants * Ability to multitask, solve problems, and contribute constructively toward achieving project team objectives with minimal supervision * Capable of observing safety and protection procedures * Work with integrity and willingness to adhere to established corporate ethics Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
